CNA classes offered in Hardin County
MEDIA RELEASE__OhioMeansJobs Hardin County, in partnership with Apollo Career Center, is offering a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program in Kenton at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center located at 117 Jacob Parrot Rd., Kenton, Ohio. The program begins November 2 through November 17, with classes held Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The training may be free for eligible students.
This is a valuable program to enable both high school students and community members to receive hands-on training to enter the health care profession. CNA’s are in high demand, and the training they receive with Apollo Career Center will enable them to enter the workforce for immediate employment or continue along a career pathway for an advanced degree. Students will learn the necessary skills to provide basic care to patients. Course content is based on the current standards and guidelines from the Ohio Department of Health and will include classroom, laboratory, and a 16-hour clinical component.
Classes are limited to eight students and will fill up quickly. For more information or to apply, contact OhioMeansJobs Hardin County at 419-675-3511.
