Ada police trying to identify man with stolen credit card
Mike Harnishfeger, Ada Police Chief, asks the Ada public for assistance in seeking the identity of a man who was with two women while a stolen credit card was used at several Ada and Lima businesses.
According to the police chief, On Aug. 23 a woman entered the Rich Station in Lima at 12:38 p.m. and used a stolen card to make a purchase. Then, at 1:41 p.m. also on Aug. 23, the same woman entered Menards in Lima with a black man in a white shirt, accompanied by an "overweight" woman in a pink shirt. They used the same card to make a large purchase there, according to Harnishfeger.
The trio also stopped in the Foot Locker in Lima to make a purchase.
Police have identified the two women but neither has been charged and their names were not released, Harnishfeger said.
The identiy of the man remains unknown. Anyone with information on the man may contact the Ada Police Department at 419-634-0010.
