Over 40 models in Tuesday's Festival of Trees style show
Ada is a “festival of trees” this month.
The 16th annual Community Health Professionals “Ada Festival of Trees,” is now open to the public. The show runs from now through Nov. 22 at the CHP office, 1200 S. Main St., Ada. The show, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily offers free admission, lots of Christmas trees and other silent auction items.
Two events have already taken place. On Sunday was the appreciation festival for sponsors and volunteers. On Monday was a cookie bake-off including cookie judging with prizes awarded.
Here are events, which conclude the festival:
• Tuesday – Nov. 19 – 7 p.m. holiday style show with over 40 models including items from Nitz’s from Lima, Reichert’s, Peebles and Maurice’s from Kenton. Lynn Knoble is the emcee. Ten models will show her Premier Jewelry.
• Wednesday – Nov. 20 – Cookies and punch from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Thursday – Nov. 21 – Cookies and punch from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 22 - closing bids taken at 6 p.m. Pickup is from 6 to 8 p.m. Holiday snacks will be available.
• Saturday, Nov. 23 – Pick up until noon.
