Ada 4th and 5th graders present "Santa, You've Got Mail," twice on Dec. 5
“Santa, You’ve Got Mail,” is the title of this year’s Ada fourth and fifth grade holiday musical, according to Lori Wilson, elementary music director.
Performances are at 1:15 p.m. and again at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Ada School Auditorium. The performances are open to the public.
Here’s a synopsis of the musical:
A disgruntled postman is tired of all the holiday letters and cards that create extra work for him around the many different holidays.
Songs include: Special Delivery, Going on a Sleigh Ride, Happy Kwanzaa, Feliz Navidad, Hanukkah Lights, Reindeer on the Move Tonight, and Santa Here's a Letter For You
“Students participate in all the songs and skits, sing in the chorus, and handle all the props, crew jobs and set-up. Students have also done artwork to decorate the auditorium for the holiday,” said Wilson. “It truly is a chance for the students to put on a show, with direction and assistance from me.”
