Quick, I need a gift tote - you can create your own on Saturday at Healthchek
The second of four Saturday handmade holiday workshops takes place on Dec. 7 at Health Check, 117 S. Main St., Ada.
Every Saturday between now and Christmas from 1-2 p.m. attendees will create a spectacular and unique item for themselves or perfect for that holiday gift giving.
Dec. 7 - Quick, I Need a Gift Tote!
A reusable easy gift packaging idea utilizing scrapbook paper and perfect for packaging home-baked goodies.
Dec. 14 - Add a little fizz to your holiday!
A hands-on, how-to creative concoction to make bath bombs/scented bath fizz balls.
Dec. 21 - What’s Under Your Tree?
A recycled newspaper tree so unique you will want to make several for centerpieces or host/hostess gifts. All materials provided. All ages and skill levels welcome. The workshop is in keeping with HealthChek’s focus to Inspire, Recycle, Upcycle and Rejuvenate.
HealthChek partners with local and regional makers, artists, artisans, designers, sewers, crocheters, knitters, dreamers and doers to offer fabulously unique and creative handmade items that encourage shoppers to buy local and support small businesses.
Preregistration for each of the workshops is required along with a $5 fee per creation.
