4-H and FFA weigh-in Jan. 4 for Hardin County Fair
Steer weigh-ins for 4-H and FFA members exhibiting in the 2014 Hardin County Fair are Saturday, Jan. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
Jan. 7 is the start of the OSU online grain marketing course and marketing simulation. Go to https://www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=870902 soon to pre-register if you wish to participate.
Jan. 14 is the start of the Conservation Tillage Club breakfast meetings at the Plaza Inn in Mt. Victory. This series is jointly hosted by OSU Extension, Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) with cooperation from USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) of Hardin, Logan, and Union counties.
The complimentary breakfasts start at 7:30 a.m. with the programs beginning at 8 a.m. Topics this year include Crop Diseases and Fungicides, Weed Control Strategies, Grain Marketing Outlook, and Agricultural Law/CDL for Ag.
