Columbus Zoo Mobile brings the zoo to Ada; it's an Ada Friends event
Ada Friends, a mentoring program involving Ohio Northern University students teaming up with youth (called "Littles") from Ada schools, are headed to the zoo.
Actually, the zoo is coming the Ada Friends, according to Austin Hilverding, student coordinator of the program.
"The Columbus Zoo Mobile provides outreach programs to schools and groups just like Ada Friends," Hilverding told The Icon.
"They are coming to Ada on Saturday, March 29, where they will be set up in the ONU the Chapel Sanctuary," he added.
"They will be bringing about five exotic animals. After their presentation, all Friends (mentors and youth) will watch a movie (probably Madagascar) and will enjoy pizza.
