Ada students may participate in an American Red Cross blood drive on Thursday, March 20. The drive takes place in the 1986 gym from 3 to 8 p.m. The drive is sponsored by the Ada Elementary Aspirations Team.

Persons interested in being a donor may register by calling the elementary office. Students who get donors will receive a Red Cross backpack.

To help support the blood drive, Ada K-6 students are writing letters to the donors thanking them for the donation and saying how donating blood has specifically helped them or their loved one.

ADA KIWANIS PANCAKE & SAUSAGE DAY: Will be Saturday, March 29th 7:00 am to 2 pm in the high school cafeteria. Adult tickets are $7.00. Children 10 and under FREE. If you would like to purchase a ticket stop in the high school office and speak to Mrs. Pifer.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Spring is just around the corner and the Beats by Dr. Dre have returned by popular demand. All 6th thru 12th grade students interested in winning a headset need to start collecting BoxTops and Campbell’s Soup labels. For every 10 you bring in, you will receive a chance at winning a headset of your color choice. The last day to enter is Friday, April 4th. The winner will be drawn on live video feed during morning announcements. See your Language Arts teacher for baggies & slip to fill out for the drawing. There will be a winner for both middle school and high school.

CHEERLEADING: There is a sign- up sheet in the high school office for anyone in grades 6-11 interested in trying out for cheerleading next year. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on March 25th at 7:00 p.m. Tryouts will be Sunday, April 6th. Informational packets will be given at parent meeting.
