Cleora E. Schaller was member of Trinity Lutheran, Jenera
Cleora E. Schaller, 94, of rural Bluffton died at 7:15 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012
at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born on Nov. 3, 1917, to the late Monroe "Roy" and Lona (Winkler)
Hoffer in Bluffton. She married Henry W. Schaller on March 22, 1941, and
he preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1981.
She is survived by daughter, Joyce Schaller of Bluffton. Cleora was also
preceded in death by brothers: J. Frederick and Roy Hoffer and sister,
Rachel Huser.
She worked for and retired from Triplett Corporation in Bluffton. She
was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jenera.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, at Crates Funeral Home,
Arlington. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, where visitation will be for one hour prior
to the service at the church.
Pastor's Alois Schmitzer III and Jeffery Bolwerk will officiate and burial
will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the
