Ada Bible Quizzers headed to nationals
Bible Quizzing teams from Ada’s First Presbyterian Church will travel to Indiana’s Bethel College Thursday to compete in the national finals.
Bible Quizzing is a competition designed for youth aged 12-20. Team members study several books of the Bible over the course of a school year, then compete in monthly competitions. This year, the teams are studying Hebrews and 1st and 2nd Peter.
Ada First Presbyterian boasts four teams – two experienced and two rookie. Sixteen youth participate. The Ada team has won numerous invitational events in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana and captured both experienced and rookie divisions in last year’s national finals.
This year’s experienced team members are Noah Allen, Carissa Miglin, Elita Smith, Lydia Smith, Jeremiah Smith, and Leah Walker. Rookies are Nathan Allen, Will Allen, Madisyn Gossard, Grace Hill, Kathleen Hill, Madison Preston, Hannah Walker, Julia Walker, Matthew Walker and Sarah Walker.
Those interested in joining Bible Quizzing may contact Melinda Smith at 419-494-9324 or [email protected].
