Nobody counting calories

Deb Curlis, Richard Gainey, Jane Helser judge the 20 desserts at the Ada Public Library on Friday. The Ada Public Library third annual Valentines Chocolate Bake-Off at the Ada Public Library was a grand success with 20 entries and more than 50 tasters enjoying scrumptious desserts. Young bakers showed their cooking ability. Two fifth graders from the Ada Schools took first and second place: Paige Jochims, first, with chocolate peanut butter dessert, and Sandra Litton, second, with chocolate strawberry pie. Molly Sheets took third place with her frozen mocha cheesecake. Nobody was counting calories. (Monty Siekerman)
