Ike, the Icon mascot, bring awareness to issues of child abuse
"Ike," the Ada Icon mascot poses in a "selfie" that the Icon entered in the Hardin County Department of Job and Family Services selfie pinwheel contest.
That organization invites all Hardin County businesses to take a photo of your business and employees with at least one pinwheel in the photo.
Email photos by April 1 to [email protected]. All entries will be in the contest.
According to Barbara Maxson, director, the winning business will be provided with a prize that is appropriate for the organization.
All pictures received will be displayed at the HardinCounty Department of Job and Family Services to promote the awareness of child abuse prevention.
And the organization invites everyone in Hardin County to show support for child abuse prevention by wearing blue on April 13.
