Memorial Run started in Ada
By Monty Siekerman
About 50 motorcycles lined Main Street on Saturday afternoon when the A.B.A.T.E. Memorial Run began at Little Mexico in Ada.
Matt Haught of Botkins exits his Harley, one of many lining both sides of Main downtown.
The 120-mile run takes the bikers to five places during the day. All proceeds go to the local A.B.A.T.E. chapter to "remember our brothers and sisters of the wind and let them know they may be down but not forgotten."
The organization promotes safety and education. May is motorcycle awareness month. The Memorial Run has begun at Little Mexico for several years.
