ONU entry in Hardin golf scramble wins low net
Ohio Northern University’s golf team entry in the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance Aug. 12 golf scramble finished first place low net.
Team members were Tom Simmons, Jeff Coleman, Chad Bucci and Gene Stechschulte posting a score of 48.2.
This year’s scramble at Veterans memorial Park Golf Course, Kenton, had 30 teams and 120 golfers.
All winners follow:
• First place Low Gross - Valicor Environmental Services with Todd Pees, Scott Merideth, Tracy Temple and Travis Temple posting a score of 52.8.
• First place Low Net - Ohio Northern University with Tom Simmons, Jeff Coleman, Chad Bucci and Gene Stechschulte posting a score of 48.2.
• Second place Low Gross and Net teams included Hardin Northern Local Schools and Quest Federal Credit Union.
• Third place Low Gross and Net - Liberty National Bank and Buckeye Machine Fabricators.
