The Lions Club annual mulch sale began Saturday. Among those assisting were (from left) Jimmy Wilson, Jeff Gray, and Keith Everhart. Black or brown mulch can be ordered by calling 419-634-5626 or 419-302-5897 for pickup or delivery on Saturdays between now and the end of May. Purchasing mulch from the Lions goes to a good cause since the club has given over $67,000 in profits to local students for scholarships from the sale in the past 16 years. For pickup, the piles of mulch can be found at Bass Trucking, just west of Ada on SR 81. Lions will be there on Saturdays by 8 am. Delivery is available for $10 in Ada and $20 in Kenton or Lima. A Bobcat scoop costs $30 for brown and $35 for black.
