Miniature horses brought to Ada
When it rained all day on Friday, the mounted posse didn't make the scene at War Memorial Park because it would be unpleasant for youngsters to see the big horses outside in the inclement weather.
Never fear, the children were overjoyed to see the substitute, two miniature horses brought to Ada by the Hardin County Sheriff's Mounted Unit.
Last week Ada children were treated to the sights and sounds of many emergency responders during a free lunch provided by ReStore Community Center. The law enforcement and emergency responders were part of the Ada Police Department S.A.F.E.R. program.
