ONU art accepted at Height-Weight-Depth exhibition
ONU Art Professor Luke Sheets has had three sculpture pieces accepted to this year’s Height-Weight-Depth (HWD) exhibition at the Rosewood Gallery.
The gallery is located in Kettering. Rosewood is part of Rosewood Arts Centre and exhibits contemporary art by local, regional and national artists.
The 11th annual HWD is a juried exhibition for sculpture artists in Ohio and surrounding states. HWD is the area’s only gallery exhibition devoted exclusively to sculpture.
The exhibition runs from Aug. 28 through Oct. 6. There is an opening reception on Thursday, Aug. 31 from 6–8p.m. with an awards presentation at 7p.m. Both the reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
Prof. Sheets is an associate professor in ceramics and director of the 3D program at Ohio Northern. He earned his BFA in 1995 from ONU and his MFA from Bowling Green.
