Ada's newest park going for the dogs
Amburgey Construction has broken ground for the Ada Dog Park on East Lehr Ave.
Golden retriever Abby gives "paws up" as she watches the digging for the water line to the 100'x300' area that is on the far north side of War Memorial Park. Fundraising this year has been successful for the $33,000 project, but more money needs to be raised to fully reach the goal.
Checks payable to Ada Dog Park Association may be mailed to 301 S. Johnson St. Ada, Ohio, 45810. There are 1,400 dogs with licenses in the 45810 ZIP code, and probably a few without licenses.
In any case, there are many dogs (and their owners) in the Ada area that wIll he happy to see the park in operation next spring.
The park accessories have been ordered, and the project is underway, although the fundraising continues.
