Swim /dive teams help Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The Ohio Northern swimming and diving teams are holding their annual "Swim for Cystic Fibrosis" fundraiser on Saturday during their 1 p.m. home meet against John Carroll at the ONU Sports Center.
Cystic Fibrosis is a rare disease that affects approximately 30,000 children and adults in the U.S alone. The money raised at the event will be donated to the CF Foundation.
The CF Foundation relies on donations to help find a cure for this life threatening disease.
This is a community service project by the ONU swimming and diving teams to raise money for the foundation and to involve the campus community in our efforts to support Cystic Fibrosis.
All students, faculty and community members are invited to support the Polar Bears in this effort.
Special event 200-yard relay races will be held during the first diving break of the meet. If you wish to donate and put up a 4 x 50 relay, email assistant coach Helaina Sacco at [email protected].
All of the money donated will go to the CF Foundation.
