Seniors Hannah Reich (Howell, Mich.) and Anna Niemeyer (Loveland) and junior Sarah Puntel (Strongsville) all were named Academic All-Ohio by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association on Wednesday afternoon.

Reich and Niemeyer were each named First Team Academic All-Ohio, while Puntel was dubbed a Second Team Academic All-Ohio honoree.

Reich, an Athletic Training major, was named Academic All-Ohio for the first time in her career.

The senior earned the honor after being tabbed a First Team Scholar All-American by the United Soccer Coaches this season.

Niemeyer, a senior Marketing major from Loveland, Ohio is now a 2-time Academic All-Ohio honoree after being named Second Team Academic All-Ohio in 2016.

The senior is also a 3-time Academic All-OAC honoree.

Puntel, a Management/Risk Management and Insurance major from Strongsville, earned her first career Academic All-Ohio honor.

Puntel also earned Academic All-OAC kudos for the second consecutive season in 2017 for her efforts in the classroom.
