Bullimore is Player of the Week, nears school record
ONU senior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) has been named the women's basketball Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
She averaged a double-double during the week, posting her fourth and fifth consecutive double-double's as Northern defeated Otterbein and No. 18-ranked Marietta.
In the contest against Otterbein, Bullimore tallied a season-best 15 rebounds and a game-high 18 points to lead ONU in the victory.
Bullimore followed that performance up with a season-high 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the No. 14-ranked Polar Bears handed No. 18 Marietta its first loss of the season.
Bullimore also climbed within 44 points of becoming ONU's all-time leading scorer and also pulled within 52 rebounds of becoming ONU's all-time leading rebounder.
Northern returns to action on Wednesday evening as they welcome Baldwin Wallace to the ONU Sports Center for a 7:30 pm tipoff.
