ONU creative reputation grows
Ohio Northern’s art and design program continues to develop a national reputation. Most recently, it was named as one of the top programs in the nation for creative students in Creative Colleges: A Guide for Student Actors, Artists, Dancers, Musicians and Writers.
And, in December, two 2017 graphic design graduates accepted their AIGA (Re)Design Award in St. Louis.
This week, Brit Rowe, associate professor of art and design, will present at the annual Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities in Honolulu, Hawaii. His presentation, titled Community-Based Graphic Design, examines how graphic designers use their skills and knowledge to draw attention to the problem of hunger and/or food insecurity in our local schools by using various strategies for community-based graphic design.
