Player of the Week for 3rd time
Sophomore Nolan Huey (Fort Collins, Colo./Fossil Ridge) earned his third career OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week honor for his efforts during the week of Jan. 23-29.
The sophomore earned the honor for the second time this season after leading Northern during the week in the pool.
In ONU's tri-meet at No. 3-ranked Kenyon with Ohio Wesleyan and the Lords, Huey was third in the 200 free in 1:45.76 and the 100 back in :53.50.
Huey followed that performance up with two victories against No. 23-ranked Case Western Reserve as he won the 100 back in :53.70 and the 200 back in 1:57.49. He was also second in the 400 I.M. in 4:20.30.
After posting its 11th consecutive winning season, Northern will now prepare for the OAC Championships on Feb. 15-17 at the University of Akron.
