Women’s basketball did not make the cut
The Ohio Northern women's basketball team saw its season come to an end on Monday afternoon as it was left out of the NCAA Div. III women’s basketball tournament.
The Polar Bears (23-5 overall) end their season as the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season champions for the fourth consecutive season and the fifth season in the last six years under 17th-year head coach Michele Durand.
Marietta, who defeated Northern in the OAC tourney championship game of Saturday, will be the lone representative for the conference in this season's tournament.
