Bulldog netters sweep Wapak

WAPAKONETA - The Ada boys tennis team remained perfect on the season with a 5-0 shutout at Wapakoneta Thursday evening.
The Bulldogs improved to 3-0 with the convincing victory.
Senior Zach Beaschler won easily at first singles to improve to 3-0 this spring. Junior Cade Mullins also won handily at second singles to go to 3-0.
Freshman Miranda Wills won in a third-set tiebreaker 10-6 to also stay unbeaten at 3-0.
Isaac Spar and Nathan Hurtig gutted out a three-set win at first doubles. Acel Gamble and Adam Bailey recorded a tough straight-sets win at second doubles to complete the sweep.

1st singles: Zach Beaschler (A) defeats Jeffrey Adkins 6-0, 6-1
2nd: Cade Mullins (A) def. Jordan Moening 6-1, 6-0
3rd: Miranda Wills (A) def. Curtis Hughes 6-3, 5-7, 10-6
