ONU freshman Vinh Thai (Galloway/St. Charles) earned his first career Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week nod this week for his efforts.

The freshman led ONU to a 2-1 week to wrap up its regular season and prepare for this week's OAC Tournament.

Thai posted a 4-1 record last week, including a 2-1 record at No. 1 singles and a 2-0 record at No. 1 doubles.

Thai helped ONU clinch the No. 3 seed in the OAC Tournament after leading ONU to a 6-3 victory over Otterbein to close out OAC play.

The Polar Bears are scheduled to host Capital at the University Courts on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 pm in the quarterfinal round of the OAC Tournament.
