Summer reading program kickoff event fun
Rhett Grant, Ada Public Library director, and Natalie Walton, youth services coordinator, sign in people for the summer reading program at the Ada Public Library. Many people were on hand Saturday to register for summer reading and see bagpipers, small animals, emergency equipment, even a steel drum band. Inside the newly renovated and expanded library, the Friends of the Library sold books for a donation as well as t-shirts. The library was the “go to” place to be on Saturday. “Libraries Rock” is the theme of this year’s summer reading program. On Saturday, the Ada Public Library “rocked.”
