Need help with a project?
Friday, Aug. 3, is the deadline for individuals, organizations, and businesses to register for ONU student help. First-year students are encouraged to engage in the community by volunteering their services from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Aug. 18. The program, called Ada Community Engagement (ACE) Day, is in its 5th year.
Registration forms and additional information can be found at onu.edu/aceday. Those with questions may call 419-772-2200.
Examples of free student help: painting, gardening, washing a fire truck, decorating, cooking. Those who want work done need to supply the materials, tools, and direction for the projects.
