The Ohio Northern volleyball program is ranked No. 19 in the nation in a preseason poll, according to the AVCA coaches. Last year’s team posted a 29-6 overall record and an 8-1 conference record.

The team also claimed a share of the OAC regular season title and qualified for a second straight NCAA Division III tournament last year. 

The Polar Bears will open the 2018 schedule with the annual ONU Invitational. Ohio Northern will kick off the tournament against Thomas More (Ky.) at 2 p.m. on Aug. 31 before battling No. 12 Carnegie Mellon, Defiance, and Case Western Reserve to conclude the weekend.
