The No. 18-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team will make the short 13-mile trek to area-rival Bluffton this weekend for the Bluffton Spiketacular at the Sommer Center.

The Polar Bears will open the tournament Friday night at 7 pm against #23 Thomas More (Ky.) looking to avenge a season-opening 3-2 setback at the 40th Annual ONU Invitational last Friday ... ONU will then face DePauw (Ind.) on Saturday at Noon before concluding the tournament against tournament host Bluffton at 2 pm.

ONU is coming off a 25-14, 25-13, 25-9 victory over Denison on Wednesday night at the ONU Sports Center.

ONU head coach Kate Witte needs just three more wins to reach the 700-win plateau ... She is ONU's and the OAC's all-time winningest coach in volleyball history.
