Gierson wins honor for 3rd time
Junior goalkeeper Meagan Grierson has claimed her third Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week award this season.
In a pair of 1-0 victories over Heidelberg and Capital last week, the junior netminder registered two clean sheets and six total saves while playing all 180 minutes in net. All six saves would come in Saturday's triumph over the Crusaders after she would go uncontested in Wednesday evening's win.
.The Polar Bears will return to action at Kerscher Stadium on Wednesday evening in a critical OAC matchup against Otterbein. Both teams are currently tied atop the conference standings with 7-0-0 league records. Match time is set for 7 p.m. in Ada.
