McVey wins his 4th race
WILMINGTON— Senior All-American Ian McVey won his fourth race of the season, leading the Ohio Northern men's cross country team to a fourth place finish at the Wilmington Jenna Strong Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Wilmington Cross Country Course.
The Polar Bears (63-18 overall) finished with 131 points to place fourth of 34 teams.
ONU fell only to Miami (Ohio), Shawnee State and Northern Kentucky, who finished 1-2-3.
Northern was first of the eleven NCAA Division III schools.
McVey was actually the second runner across the finish line, but won the race among collegiate competitors in 24:40.
