ONU Homecoming festivities span Oct. 21-22
Ohio Northern University’s Homecoming Weekend, planned for Friday through Sunday, Oct. 21-23, will feature several campus events and a parade through downtown Ada.
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on Main Street. Ken Hall, BSEd, BS ’64, will serve as the grand marshal.
Hall, also the 2022 ONU Alumni Service Award recipient for his extensive service to the University and to the Lima community, retired from Roundy’s in 2010 as vice president of marketing and merchandising after 31 years with the company.
Other Homecoming Weekend events for the public to enjoy will include:
ONU Swimming and Diving Meet vs. Wilmington. The meet will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in King-Horn Natatorium.
ONU football game vs. Muskingum. Kickoff will be at 1:30 p.m. at Dial-Roberson Stadium; and
‘Swing!’ the musical will be staged at 7:30 p.m. at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets can be purchased by visiting ticketing.onu.edu.
