The Ada High School track and field teams competed at the annual nine-team Northwest Conference championship meet Thursday, May 11 and Saturday, May 13 in Delphos.

Ada junior Jackson Brown won the boys 110-meter high hurdles league championship in 15.98 to post the top Bulldog finish.

Columbus Grove captured the boys and girls league crowns, while Bluffton took second in both team standings.

The Ada girls finished eighth, while the Bulldog boys came in ninth.

Sophomore Kennedy Jones came in second in the shot put to provide the top Ada girls finish.

Freshman Jordyn Smith finished a strong third in the 400 meters. Ada senior Courtney Sumner was fifth in the 400.

Versatile junior Mariah King captured fourth in the high jump, came in sixth in the 300 hurdles and took seventh in the 100 hurdles. She scored 10 of the 40.5 Ada girls points.

Bulldog sophomore sprinter Logan Jolliff came in fifth in the 100-meter dash, and crossed the finish line seventh in the 200.

Ada sophomore Tucker Hazelton finished fifth in the pole vault. Classmate Ethan D’Souza came home seventh in the 3,200-meter run.
