2023 Farmers & Merchants Picnic Parade photo gallery
Photos by Paula Scott
The 110th annual Farmers & Merchants Picnic Parade was a great, big, beautiful display of Ada families and organizations. This photo gallery is a glimpse of the 40-minute extravaganza that took place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 12.
The parade was led by Ada Police Chief Alec Cooper followed by Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhardt and family. The mounted patrol of the Hardin County’s Sheriff’s Office brought up the tail end. In between were elected officials and candidates, school and club sports teams, scout troops, 4-H clubs, churches, vintage cars and tractors, first responder units from the area, the Ada High School Marching Band, and dozens of other parade entries.
The parade traveled from the staging area at Ohio Northern University on Lincoln Ave., along Main Street, and on to the opening of the F&M Picnic at Ada War Memorial Park.
