ONU Orchestra and University Singers perform December 7
The ONU Orchestra, directed by Dr. Sarah Waters, BM '87, along with the University Singers and Chamber Singers, directed by Shawn Stevens, BM '16, will perform a concert filled with holiday favorites at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, December 7.
Sselections will range from Bach's Sheep May Safely Graze and Three Dances from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, to traditional holiday favorites of Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride, The First Noel arranged by David Chase, and contemporary selections from John Williams' Home Alone. The program will also invite audience member to participate in the Christmas Singalong to close out the evening.
The concert will run approximately an hour with no intermission.
This is a grand finale to the Freed Center's fall semester of performances.
