Ottawa businessman acquires Ada and Bluffton tire businesses
By Paula Pyzik Scott
Bluffton opening day is January 8
Kyle Niese, owner of Ottawa Tire & Service Center, has purchased tire businesses in Bluffton and Ada, which will soon all be rebranded as Niese Tire & Service Centers.
The Bluffton shop at 319 N. Main St. (at Jefferson, phone 567-226-1096) will open for business on Monday, January 8, while the Ada shop at 3032 OH-309 (at SR 235) is expected to open at the beginning of March 2024. The shops will provide full service automotive care including alignments.
Niese graduated from the University of Findlay in 2019. Since then he has turned his mowing business into a full scale operation and created Black Diamond Concrete Construction and Black Diamond Roofing and Construction businesses. He has owned Ottawa Tire and Service Center for two and a half years.

The young businessman calls tires and automotive his bread and butter. His plan for the Bluffton shop is to provide full service tire and automotive work, including semis, passenger vehicles and agricultural vehicles. That includes oil changes, brakes, alignments, engines and transmissions.
Niese first connected with Ottawa Tire–which has been in business for 70 years–when he needed service for the 30-40 trucks he has on the road for lawn care and construction. He knows others have the same needs. To start, employees will be coming from the Ottawa center to staff the Bluffton location.
What hobbies does Niese have? With a chuckle, he says his hobbies are working.
