Photography exhibit "Life & The Art of Living" and artists lecture at Elzay Gallery
Ohio Northern University Art & Design will host an artist lecture by Robbie and Robert Bailey, a "dynamic, photography creative team that specialize in both studio and environmental portraiture." Their photographs have been published in the New York Times as well as featured on The Today Show, The Discovery Channel, and NBC’s Nightly News. The Bailey’s fine art portraits have been exhibited worldwide and their State Fair Poultry Portraits are part of the permanent collection at North Carolina State University.
The talk beings at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Elzay Gallery of Art on Ohio Northern’s campus. The Bailey’s photography show, Life & The Art of Living, is currently on exhibit.
The event is free and open to the public. For additional information: https://rb.gy/eudnre

About the exhibit
The historic images, coupled with photographic re-creations, are simple and undeniably sentimental. But, they also invite the viewer to celebrate and contemplate the sacred arc of life and the profound sanctity of time. While the project started as a nostalgic love letter to their own family, the photographers hope you'll see reflections of yourselves and the people and places that you cherish.
Robbie currently serves as the Head of the Visual Arts Department for the Raleigh Film & Art Festival. She majored in radio and television broadcasting at North Carolina State University, followed by documentary studies at the International Center of Photography in Manhattan. Her commercial clients include The Maccallan Whiskey, Betsey Johnson, Hennessy, Ralph Lauren, and the New York Yankees.
Robert is the Head of Photography for Tarisio Fine Instruments & Bows where he manages the New York, Berlin, and London studios. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Ohio University. Robert was also an adjunct professor at Ohio Northern University and he has lectured at the The Violin Society of America, School of Visual Arts, Rochester Institute of Technology, and The International Center of Photography.
