"Village of Ada" app now available
By Paula Pyzik Scott
The Village of Ada has a new, updated app that allows you to pay your Utility Bill and a variety of other options. The app gives you direct access to the content of the Village website, www.adaoh.org/
It provides information about local government, Village departments, the Village calendar, a staff directory and forms including employment and depot rental. There is also a "Report a Problem" option.
If you are currently logged in to the MyCivic App, it is still functional. Once you log out you will not be able to access the Village of Ada through the MyCivic App. You will need to download the new Village of Ada App.
New utility account features are
- Access to real-time account information and consumption history
- Pay via phone, text, website, or mobile app
- Make a one-time payment, schedule a payment or sign up for autopay
- Receive payment reminders
The new app is available at the Apple Store and Google Play Store depending on your device:
iOS Apple Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/village-of-ada/id6444370635
Android/Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.civicapps.adaoh
Once you download the App you can login using the same username and password that you used for the MyCivic App. If you are unable to login in using those credentials you will need to register a new account or continue as a guest.Once you have logged in or continued as a guest you will see the Village of Ada main screen. You can toggle through the “short cut” icons listed to visit various sections of our website or you can click the three bars located at the top right side of the screen and scroll through the menu.
The PDF document HERE explains this process and includes screenshots for additional assistance downloading and registering on the Village of Ada App.
