Ada’s Brown wins hurdles heat at state meet, day one

DAYTON __ Ada High School senior ace Jackson Brown qualified for the 110-meter high hurdle finals at the Div. III state track and field meet in Dayton’s Welcome Stadium Thursday.
Regional champion Brown won the third preliminary heat in 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.03.
As one of three heat winners, he is seeded third in the finals as he authored the fifth-fastest qualifying time. The top two finishers in the first two heats each finished in under 15 seconds.
The Div. III 110-meter boys hurdle finals will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31.
