Ada Community Improvement Corporation meets July 17
The Ada Community Improvement Corporation will hold its July meeting at the Depot at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 17. The meeting is open to the public and individuals may bring their lunch.
The organization is still collecting dues for 2024 and accepting new memberships. Dues are $25.00. The membership form is attached HERE.
Members are invited to join committees in the following interest areas:
INDUSTRIAL
Jamie Hall, chair - Oversee, recommend, and develop a profile of the Industrial Park. Work with the Village, county, and state to see that al websites have current maps of available ground and al utilities and services.
WATER RESOURCES
Dave Retterer, chair - Provide sound information to everyone in Hardin County on the importance of protecting our groundwater and prepare presentations for groups and area schools. Continue to work on the water resource plan.
COMMUNITY
Lindsay Walden Holler, chair - Look at Ada, both in and out of the box, for ways to continue improvements, including collaborative efforts among Ada, ONU, Ada Schools, Industrial Park, Commercial District, Park Board, and other organizations. Record historical activities within the Village. Specific committee project includes Ada Safe Routes to School Team.
COMMERCIAL
Deb Curlis, chair - Work with Chamber and local businesses for growth and longevity. Recommend to CI ideas to help achieve these goals.
