On October 23-25, a total of 16 Ada FFA members attended the 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the first day, the members visited Lincoln College of Technology, and while there they toured the campus and talked about the opportunities provided at the college.
Next, the members toured and learned about fish farming at Ozark Fisheries. They were taught the process of raising and selling fish and the different types of fish they raised. Later that night, they attended a Nate Smith and Megan Moroney concert at the Gainbrige Fieldhouse. ▶︎
On the second day, members woke up bright and early so they were able to attend session 1B at the Lucas Oil Stadium. Once the session ended, they were given time to shop and explore the Expo Center. Later the members came together to attend session 2. After the second session ended, members went to Kelsey’s Farm to have fun at Buckeye Bash, a get-together with only Ohio FFA members.
On the last day of the convention, the members attended one more session where Temple Grandin spoke about different types of thinkers. The members had a great time at the 97th National Convention where they learned more about the amazing organization known as FFA.
