KENTON - Hardin County Student Leaders-United met on Wednesday, Dec 4 at Kenton High School. This is the third meeting for the 2024-25 school year. The group of 24 selected Sophomores meets monthly to develop their leadership skills and learn more about charitable organizations within Hardin County.
Quest Federal Credit Union led the students in the “Game of Life.” This program came is a collaboration of participants in the 2023 Hardin Leadership class and the United Way of Hardin County. Lunch was provided for the students by Moore than Just BBQ and Graphic Packaging.
“We are excited to be continuing this program. Last year was our first year bringing a High School Leadership Program back to Hardin County,
We’ve learned a lot and continue to make adjustments to the program to make it the best it can be for the students,” said Brett Purcell, Athletic Director of Kenton City Schools.
The group will have a graduation ceremony in May. Sponsors for the program included Quest FCU, Middlefield Bank, Mid-Ohio Energy, the Hardin County Community Foundation and ServeOhio.
