Trio of free services at June 26 CHP event
From 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, CHP Home Care & Hospice, 1200 S. Main St., Ada, will host a multi-purpose event including
- Drug Take Back Day - Free and open to the public. Bring items in sealed bag.
- Shred-a-thon - Free and open to anyone living in the community.
- CARFIT Event - Reduce risk of injury
DRUG TAKE BACK
Accepted medications will be over-the-counter pills, prescriptions, opioids. DO NOT BRING needles and liquids. Drug disposal will be handled by the Ada Police Department.
SHRED-A-THON
Items to shred include personal documents, check stubs, credit card offers, receipts, paper items containing personal information. Shredding is provided by WILTONKECK
CARFIT
Improve your safety and comfort behind the wheel with help from CARFIT. There are ways for drivers to adapt to their cars, and adjust their "fit" within them, in order to reduce their risk of injury during a crash.
The event is sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging and AmeriCorps Seniors.
