Financial support for Ada park and veterans groups presented at VFW Park in the Park show

A breezy yet sultry day in the groves of Ada’s War Memorial Park was the scene of the 2025 Park in the Park car show hosted by Ada VFW Post 3891. Mother Nature crashed the party with heavy thunderstorms prior to the anticipated 4:00 p.m. awards and raffle drawings, leading to a slightly abbreviated schedule.
The VFW made the following check presentations:
Blue Star Mothers - $1,000
Veterans Freedom Flag Memorial - $1,000
War Memorial Park Board - $3,000
Awareness 22 (Suicide Outreach Program) - $1,000
Event organizer Wynn Hauenstein said that $1,000 will be presented to Farmers & Merchants Picnic at a future date.
Food sales at the event were provided by the VFW Auxiliary. The following sponsors supported the 2025 car show.
