JULY 24 MEDIA RELEASE__The United Way of Hardin County is inviting local volunteers and businesses to participate in its annual Day of Caring on August 15. This county-wide event supports non-profit and public organizations through various essential projects.
"Our Day of Caring is vital for many local non-profits, helping them complete projects like painting, lawn care, and office tasks that might otherwise go undone," stated Martha Nau, Executive Director of the Hardin County United Way. "The impact of our volunteers is immense, and we deeply appreciate their commitment to our community."
This initiative brings together volunteers and businesses to provide vital short-term support, enabling organizations to achieve their missions and address community needs.
The event begins with a kick-off breakfast on August 15, at 9:00 a.m. at the Mid-Ohio Energy Community Building, volunteers will then head out to their work sites.
