Bulldog volleyball sweeps Kenton

KENTON__The visiting Ada High School volleyball team opened its season on a strong note by sweeping Hardin County rival Kenton on Tuesday, August 19.
Ada opens its season 1-0 with the decisive 25-22, 25-18, 25-10 victory.
Kenton dropped to 1-1 after the loss.
Senor Anna Conley knocked down eight kills to pace the hitters.
Senior libero Alyssa Madison hustled up a career-high 32 digs.
Versatile junior Alivia Gibson amassed 10 digs, hit six kills and dealt three aces.
Junior Dailah Preston compiled five kills and two blocks. Junior Brooklynn Andreasen contributed six kills.
Junior setter Jaylin St. Laurent dished out 12 assists. She also came up with nine digs and served three aces. Freshman setter Tea Griffith also doled out a dozen assists in her varsity debut.
Senior Ashley Hevlin added one block.
The Bulldog junior varsity also won 25-23, 25-21.
Ada plays Saturday in a triangular non-league match at Spencerville with Waynesfield-Goshen (0-2). W-G lost in straight sets to Ben Logan Tuesday.
