Bulldog volleyball loss to Elmwood

ADA __The Ada High School volleyball team lost in straight sets to visiting Elmwood in a Blanchard Valley Conference match on Monday, September 15.
The Bulldog girls dropped to 10-2 overall and 2-2 in the BVC after suffering just their second defeat.
The Royals improved to 5-4 overall and 3-1 in BVC play with the 25-19, 25-18, 27-25 road win.
Junior setter Jaylin St. Laurent passed out 10 assists, made eight digs and served up three aces.
Ada freshman Téa Griffith compiled nine digs, three kills, seven assists and two blocks.
Senior Anna Conley hit five kills. Junior Brooklynn Andreasen knocked down three kills and served two aces.
Junior Dailah Preston amassed two blocks and three kills. Junior Alivia Gibson smacked three kills.
Senior libero Alyssa Madison mustered 18 digs.
The Ada junior varsity swept Elmwood, 2-0.
The Bulldog girls (2-2 BVC) play at league foe Arlington (6-6, 1-1 BVC) on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Ada then visits undefeated Leipsic (10-0, 3-0 BVC) on Sept. 22.
