Bulldog volleyball sweeps Riverdale

ADA__The Ada High School volleyball team defeated visiting Blanchard Valley Conference foe Riverdale in three straight sets on Monday, September 29.
The Bulldog girls improved to 13-6 overall and 3-4 in the BVC after the decisive 25-19, 25-21, 25-21 victory.
Riverdale fell to 7-8 overall and 1-6 in BVC play with the road defeat.
Junior setter Jaylin St. Laurent dished out 17 assists.
Versatile freshman Téa Griffith filled out the stat sheet. She passed out seven assists, hit five kills, mustered eight digs, served one ace and made two blocks.
Junior Alivia Gibson contributed an all-round performance. She knocked down four kills, made nine digs, served an ace and came up with two blocks.
Junior Dailah Preston smacked down six kills and came up with four blocks.
Senior Anna Conley drilled five kills. Junior Brooklynn Andreasen drilled five kills and dealt one ace.
Senior Alyssa Madison hustled up 18 digs. Junior Harlyn Lowry came up with six digs.
The Ada junior varsity lost to the Falcons, 2-1.
The Bulldogs (3-4 BVC) play at league foe Arcadia (6-8, 2-6 BVC) on Wednesday, October 1. The Redskins lost at Van Buren Monday, 3-0.
