Bulldog volleyball win vs. Vanlue

ADA - The Ada High School volleyball team swept its belated home opener vs. visiting Blanchard Valley Conference foe Vanlue on Monday, September 8.
The Bulldog girls improved to 9-1 overall and 1-1 in the BVC with the league home win. Ada rolled to victory by a 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 count with a balanced hitting attack.
Vanlue stayed winless overall at 0-6 and is also 0-1 in BVC play after the loss.
Junior setter Jaylin St. Laurent served up five aces, made five digs and passed out 18 assists.
Junior Alivia Gibson hammered eight kills and came up with eight digs.
Senior Anna Conley drilled eight kills and made six digs. Junior Brooklynn Andreasen knocked down a team-high nine kills.
Junior Dailah Preston came up with four blocks and drilled five kills.
Senior Alainee Buxton hustled up three blocks. Senior Alyssa Madison mustered 11 digs.
Freshman Téa Griffith contributed five kills and 16 assists.
The Bulldog junior varsity also swept Vanlue, 2-0.
Ada hosts league foe McComb (3-2, 0-2 BVC) on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
